There is less than a month left for the release of the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, and the excitement of the enthusiasts is at a fever pitch. So, what if we tell you that Hyderabad-based bespoke label Özel is coming up with an edition of clutches and potlis soon, inspired by one of the most-watched television shows. Shipra Nayyar, founder of the three-year old label, says, “I am a huge GOT fan! With these handcrafted bags, fans can show their allegiances — be it House Targaryen, Stark or even Lannister.” The collection will have minimalist sling bags and potlis in rich fabric like velvet and silk.
We loved the dragon box clutch in red velvet, which features the iconic Targaryen seal. “The signature look of the collection will be a cape style potlis, inspired by Daenerys Targaryen’s warrior queen look,” says the 30-year-old. The other highlight will be potlis inspired by Sansa Stark’s grace and Arya’s love for the sword. Apart from the GOT collection that will be available in a few days, Shipra also has two other new launches — Delicate Darlings and Cleopatra.
The former consists of round potlis in pastels decked with French knots. Look out for shibori-dyed potlis and gold embroidery embellished clutches. The Cleopatra collection is dramatic. Also, the brand will be showcasing at Sunday Soul Sante on March 17 at HITEX Exhibition Center.
