Be the Next: Lakme Fashion Week AW 2017 model hunt is here
If we were to look at the one thing that actor turned models from Deepika Padukone to Yana Gupta has in common, it would be Lakme Fashion Week. Having served as an everlasting talent pool to the county's modelling industry for close to two decades, the fashion fiesta has now announced auditions for its upcoming Winter/Festive 2017 edition.
With its constant reinvention of the platform by bringing in aspects including exclusivity—think gender-neutral models Anjali Lama and Petr Nitka who revolutionised the show last January with their unique styles—the audition this time will land an IMG international model contract for the winner. “Lakmé Fashion Week is truly a hotbed for new talent in India. We will be looking for all that an IMG Model embodies: an inimitable personality, spirit, and the willingness to work hard,” says IMG Models Vice President Jeni Rose, commenting on the upcoming auditions. Set to be held in two different venues—St Regis (Mumbai) and Hyatt (Bengaluru)—on the 13th and 15th of June, the audition will be monitored by a panel of industry experts.
Height: 5 feet 7 inches and above
Dress code: singlet/tube top and hot shorts/short skirt
Contestants are requested to arrive at the respective venues by 9.30 am
