This season is all about coming together with friends, family and loved ones, and indulging in some good food and great wine. And, if you are wondering where to go for a brunch or dinner with your gang, we have prepared a list of restaurants and gastropubs in Mumbai who are offering a Christmas special menu, which can be perfect for your get-togethers. Check it out: 

1. Social

<em>Cinnamon Carol</em>
Cinnamon Carol

Known for its eclectic names and combinations, SOCIAL has launched an exclusive Christmas menu featuring nine new dishes, including Pumpkin Paratha served with Vindaloo Sausage Fry, Risottoogood (a smoked cranberry & malai tikka risotto with poppadum ribbons), and a Sizzling Plum Cake served with custard, chocolate and nuts. There are five new drinks as well - Reindeer Fuel (a rum-based cocktail with orange marmalade, spiced honey, and apple juice), Treat Your Elf (white rum blended with fresh pineapple juice, lime juice and jalapeños), Cinnamon Carol (a bourbon cocktail with pumpkin syrup, star anise, and egg white), and Hymn For The Weekend where bourbon meets a sinful dose of espresso, smoked cinnamon, and Drambuie topped with almond cookie powder.

2. The Boston Butt

Spreading the festive joy, Pit-Master and Charcutier Siddharth Kashyap has formulated a limited-edition menu keeping the southern American inspiration of the brand in mind. It begins with small plates like Pepperoni & Tomme cheese beignets, Peppered steak & kettle chips, Grilled baby lobsters, Skillet charred milky mushrooms. The mains feature Roast chicken and Pumpkin tortellini in almond cream sauce. To wind-up the meal on a jolly good note, there is spiced Hennessy Martell vs Cognac ice-cream.

3. La Lola

La Lola’s Christmas menu includes diverse gourmet flavours with delectable dishes that include Pumpkin and Biscotti Ravioli with blue cheese sauce, Truffle risotto, Australian Lamb chops, slow-cooked pork belly and a wide range of crepes. 

When: Dec 21 - 31, 12 noon – 3:30 pm and 6 pm to 1 am

4. Hilton Mumbai International Airport 

Hilton Mumbai International Airport is hosting Christmas Day brunch at The Brasserie. The spread includes Yorkshire pudding, Shepherd’s pie (Lamb), Chicken liver puff, Brie filled potato croquettes, Oven-roasted turkey with Cranberry sauce, and Chipolata Roasted pork leg with sage apple sauce and more. Additionally, savour special live Shawarmas and Pizza counters, grill counters, and both Indian and international cuisine. And, to end this flavoursome meal, there is an elaborate dessert counter featuring Red Velvet Holiday Trifle, Eggnog Mousse Snowmen, Strawberry Champagne with Tangy Strawberry Salsa, Yule log, Cashew nut and Almond Torte, Spice Nut Bar, Plum Pudding (Hot) and X-mas Cookies. 

When: Christmas Eve Dinner (December 24, 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm), Midnight Dinner (December 25, 12:15 am to 02:30 am) and Christmas Day Brunch (December 25, 12:00 pm to 04:00 pm)

5. Hello Guppy

Promising entertainment for the entire family, the Brunch will feature a fun-filled, slime-making workshop with glitter, and glow-in-the-dark slime, to engage the kids while parents can indulge in unlimited food and drinks. And, guess what, they have two separate menus.

Adults can begin their meal with a choice of either Manchow Soup or Mushroom Soup followed by a range of Cold Appetizers such as Potato Salad, Eggplant & Kimchi or Japanese-Style Rolled Omelet. There are a series of Steamed Buns, an assortment of Sushi, a Tempura & Fry section, main courses like Exotic Japanese Vegetables Curry or Chicken Curry, which can be paired with Udon Noodles with Exotic Mushroom or Garlic Fried Rice. In Desserts, there are options like Christmas Plum Cake, Pineapple Upside Down Cake, and Chocolate Mud Pie. 

Children can also enjoy Grills like Grilled Marinated Mushroom and Cashew Chicken. Additional options on the children’s brunch menu include Japanese Pizza Pancake – vegetarian or chicken.

6. Sorrentina By Foodhall

The gourmet superstore’s fine-dining restaurant, Sorrentina is offering a delicious a-la-carte Christmas menu, accompanied by a series of Christmas cocktails. The meal will begin with a series of Small Plates, such as Burratina alla rosto Brussel sprouts, Mozzarella e lenticchie, Butternut Squash Puree, and Water Chestnut Salad. There will be Pizza and Pasta options alongside mains like Pollo Arrosto and Salmon Scottato and desserts like Pumpkin Pie and Christmas Pudding. Any Christmas feast is incomplete without cocktails and they have Mrs. Claus’ Mulled Wine (red wine with spices and orange slices), Sorrentina Nog (classic eggnog with house-made almond liqueur, almond and cinnamon), Pera Speziata (spiced pear syrup, gin and egg white), and Mulled Wine Martini (classic mulled wine with gin and orange slices).

7. Olive Bar and Kitchen

Olive Group’s flagship property, Olive Bar and Kitchen, is offering a special Christmas menu for the festive season. Guests can enjoy small plates like Potato and Leek Soup with truffle sour cream, Flash-Seared Brussels Sprouts with cranberries and pecan crunch, and Zataar Crusted Sashimi-Grade Tuna with orange, grapefruit and fennel salad, and creamy lemon tahini. Their large plates offer Lentil and Assamese Bora Rice Risotto, Truffle-Infused Crisp Polenta, Cranberry and Walnut Turkey Roulade, and Roast Lamb with spiced fig and house-made beetroot pappardelle. For desserts, diners can enjoy options like Warm Christmas Pudding Soufflé with brandy crème Anglaise, and Baba Au Rhum, with pistachio crème and boozy fruits.

8. The BlueBop Cafe

A Jazz cafe nooked in the lanes of Bandra-Khar brings an immersive experience with artisanal Italian American cuisine, some delectable cocktails and jazz music to go with it. Chef Saurabh Raturi has carefully curated an interesting spread to go with the perky and playful ambiance of the restaurant. So what's on this menu? Start light with the Prawn Tabbouleh Salad or the Italian Flat Bread with Hummus and Christmas Goat Cheese Ball. The main course speaks of all that December has to offer, so dig in right into the  Ricotta & Cherry Tomato Pizza, Christmas Spaghetti Carbonara which replaces bacon with smoked turkey bits, a Stuffed Turkey Calzone or the Zucchini and Leek Gratin. We have the perfect dessert - a decadent Salted Caramel Tart and Sticky Toffee Pudding to end this delicious meal.

9. JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar

This Christmas, relish in traditional classics such as Salmon Wellington, Coq au Vin, Benedict with a Twist, Nargisi Kebab and Litti Chokha¸ Asian style Duck Delicacy, Exocti Sushi and Sashimi. There is also a delicious spread of heavenly desserts includes Strawberry and Chocolate towers, Artisanal cheese and breads, Smoked Cheesecake, Christmas Pudding, Ginger Breads with Prunes, Stolen Breads and Traditional Christmas Cakes and cookies.

Monkey Bar, presents ‘Jolly Good Fellows’, a tribute to the Anglo-Indian community. Yes, the Anglo-Indians - the first to hit the dance floor, the last to leave, deeply passionate about their food and drink, and truly encapsulating the spirit of this gastropub with their joie de vivre and delight in all things fun. The menu offers an array of small plates and dessert inspired by the soul-satisfying dishes from Anglo-Indian homes across the country - Maka Pao De (bread and butter with a Portuguese twist), Panthra’s & Mother-In-Law’s Chutney (a go-to dish for the robust Anglo-Indian community of Kolkata), Some Bombils Men (Maharashtrian cuisine inspired, green masala marinated, semolina-coated and pan-seared Bombay Duck served with mint chutney), or Ball Curry and Pao (low-cooked Railway-style mutton meatball curry, served with buttered pao and prawn balchao butter). For a sweet finale to your evening, there’s Pain Perdu Toast, a French inspired dessert with an Anglo-Indian persona added by an almond cream and gulkund topping.
