Caroline Miguel is all about hair extraordinaire. Born in France and now based out of Mumbai as an artistic consultant of L'Oréal Professional's dream team (of trainers) in India, she has been in the industry for 25 years. Over that time, she has set up operations everywhere from Cypress to Kuwait, Qatar and Canada. Now, she is coming to Chennai next week "to inspire hair artistry" as a brand new salon launches in Nungambakkam. We dive straight into all of our styling questions and top trends for the year.
What are your plans mane-related and otherwise while in Chennai?
L'Oréal Professionnel aims to inspire hairdressers and consumers alike. I will be in the city for the launch of Vurve Signature Salon's new outlet on Khader Nawaz Khan Road, and I am coming with the sole agenda to inspire hair artistry.
What are some of the hottest hair trends/colours of 2019 and do you have any predictions for 2020, which is fast approaching?
Hair colour trends range from the subtle to bold. It is all about personalisation and creating a look with your hairdresser that suits your skin type and face shape. The Parisian cool colour trend embodies all of this and more with styles you can carry effortlessly.
