The Mahatma connect
Shailendra began his journey on the 150th birthday of Mahatma Gandhiji and will be focussing on some of the significant sites related to the life and legacy of Mahatma Gandhi. One such magical event which takes place once every year on October 2nd at noon is when the sunlight hits Gandhiji's ashes at the Gandhi memorial in Kanyakumari. "We will visit his museum in Mumbai and Ahmedabad, the point where he started the Dandi march. In his Mann ji Bhat of 24 August, Prime Minister Modi encouraged each citizen to remember, visit and share the legacy of Gandhiji. I will be visiting these sites and share the whole thing live so that the entire world can be inspired by Gandhiji and the open-mindedness of this world's largest democracy." says Shailendra Singh.
