Lyricist Prasoon Joshi has shared a disappointed yet heart-wrenching response to the remake of his Masakali song. In a long post on Facebook, he talked about how he coined the word Masakali, the effort that went behind the making the song a reality and the effect that it has had on people.

The hit AR Rahman song from the Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra 2009 musical drama film Delhi-6 was recently remade by Tanishk Bagchi and was released by T-Series. The music video features Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria in it and has drawn the ire of fans and critics alike.
