People find faults in you even if you look great, says Ileana D’Cruz

Ileana said that while earlier she felt eager to impress everyone but she doesn’t have to do that anymore.

Bollywood actress Ileana D’Cruz has been open about a lot of issues including depression and body image issues among others. Recently, in an interview, she opened up about the pressure to look good as a celebrity and how it gets to her sometimes, because it comes with a lot of responsibility and a lot of fans look up to Bollywood actors as an example. 

According to a report in a leading publication, Ileana said that as a person who suffered from body image issues, and also a person who doesn’t consider herself attractive at all, it affects her a lot. However, the actress went on to state that she has now dealt with the fact that she will not be seeing pictures of herself which will be flattering to her. She also went on to add that she will be judged by people whether or not she looks good on a particular day, and she is okay with it. 

Ileana who is famous for her role in Barfi, as well as Mubarakan, said that while earlier she felt eager to impress everyone, there was a constant urge to please everyone, she doesn’t have to do that anymore. The actress said that she would want to make sure she got good reviews but she slowly realised that it is not possible to please everybody and she rather deal with reality and move on in life. The actress state that some of the people find it hard to imagine celebrities as normal people and she craves for that all the time.
