Selena Gomez, who is the executive producer of 13 Reasons Why, dropped a new soundtrack Back To You late last week. The song was written by the Wolves singer and songwriters Parris Warrington, Diederick Van Elsas, Micah Premnath and Amy Allen. The lyrics talk about a dramatic up and down relationship which some fans say could be about her ex boyfriend Justin Bieber.
On May 1 Selena had posted an Instagram picture of herself in the mirror with the caption: "Out May 10, Part of the13 Reasons Why season 2 soundtrack. I'm excited for you guys to hear it". She said that the song Back To You was something personal to her and stated, "I wanted it to be a beautiful message in a really complicated, but really fun way." The singer referred to the song as a "Special project". Selena Gomez also wrote the song Only For You for season 1 of the series.
Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why will commence on May 18.
