Hollywood’s actor Will Smith expressed his desire of working in a Bollywood film while speaking with Indian actor-director Farhan Akhtar at a leadership conference in Mumbai, followed by some bhangra moves on stage. “One of the things on my bucket list is to be on a Bollywood dance sequence,” said the Academy Award nominee and Grammy Award winner. Hosted by a leading media organisation, Will Smith also recollected his conversation with Miss World and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan about doing an Indian film together. “But it never happened. Perhaps, I would do a film with her,” he shared.

He also added that the contrast between various classes of people in India is beautiful. “On any street corner, you could cross a thousand years. There could be someone on a brand new smartphone and someone on a cart. The intermingling of the ages and the lifestyle is amazing,” said the 50-year-old.

Known to be one of the most powerful actors in the world, Smith also opened up about how his film, Ali, a biopic on Muhammad Ali, was a life-changing experience. “I was sitting behind Muhammad Ali when he was watching Ali for the first time. There is a scene where I was screaming and he turned to his wife and said, 'Was I that crazy' and he turned to me and said, ‘Man you’ve done a great job’.” He also added that people need to embrace failure and learn from it. “A lot of people have a wrong perspective on failure. You fail, you correct and then you win. I’ve been lucky enough to embrace failure, I started to develop an ability to get over and embrace the lesson. You learn more from your failures than your successes.”
