American entertainment company Netflix on Tuesday announced that they would continue working with former Phantom films founders Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. The announcement comes amidst the success of Sacred Games, to make a sequel to the story written by Varun Grover, called Sacred Games 2.

Netflix in a statement said they had carried out an independent investigation on Phantom Films and were satisfied with the results. Production company Phantom Films was dissolved last month after an ex-employee spoke out against Vikas Bahl and said he had sexually harassed her. A few days later, Anurag Kashyap, one of the four partners said they were dissolving the company after they were blamed for not taking any action, which they strictly denied. On the other hand, Varun Grover who was also accused of sexual harassment denied the claims and said he wants closure for the sake of his mental health, and the anonymous account hasn’t resurfaced since then.

Netflix added that it will continue its work with Varun Grover for the season 2 of the thriller-drama and said it will collaborate with its production partners to ensure and maintain a safe and respectful working environment at all times.
