Kalank new song: Twitter reacts as Alia Bhatt dominates the floor and Madhuri Dixit has to 'stand still and watch'

Ghar More Pardesiya, the first song from Abhishek Verman's upcoming directorial, Kalank, released earlier on Monday and Twitter responded with mixed reactions.

The big-budget movie produced by Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala is a period drama set in pre-independent India. The movie stars Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in important roles.

The song video released today, shows Alia Bhatt taking over the dance floor with a Kathak routine while Madhuri Dixit watches her admiringly. While some lauded Alia's attempt to pull off the routine, many others shared their disappointment in not making danseuse Madhuri dance and instead, making her stand still and watch Alia throughout the song.
