Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma recently faced some backlash after rumours surfaced that they refused to take a picture with a specially-abled fan at the airport.
The paparazzi video which surfaced online, shows a differently-abled fan approaching the couple for a photo while they walk toward their vehicle, accompanied by security personnel. However, airport security pulls the fan away from their purview so they can get to their car.
Fans were quick to defend their favourite couple and quite a few of them weighed in and said that the airport is a very secure area where the celebrities are usually required to follow strict movement protocols.
Fans also noted airport security personnel at the scene intervened and moved the fan out of the way before the couple could spot him, so the outrage against Virat and Anushka is pointless.
Bollywood stars often face unexpected issues at airports, where fans, paparazzi, and tight security converge. Despite VIP protocols, celebrities are frequently mobbed, making even short walks exhausting and causing delays.
