As a part of the Margazhi season, Bharat Kalachar presents a bharatanatyam performance by Padma Shri awardee Shobana, to celebrate the season. The danseuse is known to experiment with various concepts for her performances, but they always revolve around mythology. Recently, she even included a Biblical episode by Mary Magdalene, though she has always depicted stories by Shiva and Krishna in different forms, which are always a marvel to the eye.
