Short film festival at American Centre, Kolkata

The US Consulate General Kolkata invites you to attend the Ending Gender-based Violence: One Story at a Time short film festival

Team Indulge

As part of the US Consulate General Kolkata’s mission to promote gender equality, we invite you to attend the Ending Gender-based Violence: One Story at a Time short film festival.

The festival marks the grand finale of the Digital Storytelling workshop, held earlier this year at the American Centre.  During the workshop, 24 youth leaders from India and Bangladesh created two-minute short films in four languages that promote awareness of gender-based violence.  By empowering youth leaders across borders to identify, and speak up against gender issues irrespective of religion, ethnicity, or nationality, we continue to strengthen the advocacy skills of the next generation of leaders in the Indo-Pacific region.

Where: Lincoln Room, American Centre

When: September 28, 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Entry is free. Registration starts 1 p.m. onwards.
