Alliance Française du Bengale in association with Apne Aap Women Worldwide will be screening the film Love Sonia, followed by a talk by Ruchira Gupta, a well-known sex trafficking abolitionist, journalist, activist and the founder of Apne Aap. A disturbingly haunting and well-crafted film 'Love Sonia' is inspired by true events, the shocking story of a young Indian village girl whose life irrevocably changed when she gets entrapped in the global sex trade while trying to save the one person she is closest to.
