Collective Madness’s play Ek Mulaqat Manto Se is based on the articles written by Sadat Hasan Manto. Through the play, director Ashwath Bhatt explores Manto’s life, the times he lived in and the social changes he witnessed during India’s Partition. Bhatt, who also plays Manto, engages with the audience and tries to answer the most important question - "Why I write what I write".
