This regional brand is making all the right moves. Hero Motocorp is unleashing not one but three new bikes in the market and they are targeted at the premium motorcyclist. Each product ushers in its own unique selling proposition and has a distinct category that it is reaching out to.

Hero XPulse 200
Made for the adventure-loving enthusiast, this bike is touted to be a serious threat to the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The styling draws its inspiration from the manufacturer’s experience in the Dakar Rally—a long travel front fork, high ground clearance, 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel fitted with dual purpose tyres and an upright riding stance. The bike also gets an LCD cluster with Bluetooth connectivity that also offers turn-by-turn navigation. Available in two variants of the 200 cc engine, namely the CV Carburettor and Fuel Injection version, the bike delivers 18.4 PS of power and 17.1 Nm of torque. The bikes have been priced at `97,000 and `1,05,000 respectively.

Hero Xtreme 200S
Taking the story forward from where Hero let things idle post the Karizma and Karizma ZMR, the company is back with an exciting full fairing bike that will add to the Xtreme portfolio. Tuned to work as a daily workhorse, yet carry the style and substance of a track machine, the Xtreme 200S is quite the sight! It gets a full LED headlamp and taillight, digital LCD cluster that offers you details such as a service reminder, trip meter, gear indicator, turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. Powering the Xtreme 200S is a 200 cc air-cooled engine that delivers 18.4 PS power and 17.1 Nm torque. It also gets a 276 mm front disc brake with single channel ABS and a 220 mm rear disc brake. It has been priced at `98,500.

Hero XPulse 200T
Built as an affordable touring machine, this one boasts a retro styling. The premiumness shows in the build quality and to cater to the young audience that it is targeted at, the bike maker has kitted the vehicle out with an LED headlamp and tail lamp, a digital speedometer with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn-navigation and you also get a single channel ABS to enhance safety. Promoted as an easy bike to ride, the 200 cc XPluse 200T also comes with a large pillion grip with tie points should you feel the need to take it out on a nice long tour. It has been priced at `94,000.
