Parag Tyagi, an actor himself, got married to Shefali in 2014, four years after they started dating. Parag made a television debut with pavitra Rishta where he played the role of Archana's (Ankita Lokhande) elder brother, Vinod, and soon became a household name. Later, he played Mirza Shariffudin in the TV drama, Jodha Akbar. Parag appeared on the couple dance reality show Nach Baliye 5 with Shefali when they were in a relationship, and again in season 6, after they got married. Parag appeared in the tv drama Bramharakshas in 2016, and also played the main antagonist in the Pawan Kalyan film, Agnyaathavaasi. He also competed in Bigg Boss 13 as a contestant. 

Parag Tyagi appeared in Hindi films like A Wednesday and Sarkar 3. Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do, Kaala Teeka, Naagin 5, Shakti and Aghori are just a few of the Hindi TV shows in which Parag Tyagi has appeared.
