WATCH: Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood first trailer is out

This is not the first time Tarantino has worked with both actors - while DiCaprio was in Django Unchained (2012), Pitt starred in Inglourious Basterds (2009).

After much anticipation, the first trailer of Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was released on Wednesday.

The trailer introduces Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), a washed-up actor known for a television Western, and his best friend and stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). It shows scenes from 1960s Los Angeles, along with Tarantino-esque dialogue. “I’ve been working on this script for five years, as well as living in Los Angeles County most of my life, including in 1969, when I was 7 years old,” Tarantino reportedly said, in an interview with a leading media organisation.

This is not the first time Tarantino has worked with both actors - while DiCaprio was in Django Unchained (2012), Pitt starred in Inglourious Basterds (2009).

The film also stars Margot Robbie, Al Pacino, Tim Roth, Kurt Russell, and Timothy Olyphant and is sait to hit theatres on July 26th, 2019.
