Use a cold cream or moisturiser on the skin before going out
Use a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher which is labelled Broad Spectrum
Use coconut oil in the hair especially near the roots and around the ears this helps protect the hair and ears from colour stains
Avoid bleach and facial for one week after Holi
Use colourless nail polish on the nail and around the nail folds before going out to play. Apply a thick coat. You can wipe off with acetone afterwards
Keep yourself hydrated Keep your sunscreen with you. Carry an old cap or bandana and use it as a fashion accessory
If you like home remedies , make a paste with multani mitti, lemon, curd and rose water. Apply after the Holi festivities. Wash off with generous coconut oil and mild cleanser
Wear a bandana, sunglasses, and full-sleeved clothing
Avoid harsh colours and metallic colours. Use organic or natural colours where available
