Couturier Rohan Pariyar orchestrated magic on the corridors of Indian Museum by recreating costumes from the 18th century
French court with the couture collection Louis XIV. The baroque extravaganza had everyone stunned with the array of glamour sashaying down the ramp in a palette ranging from vivid to pastel hues. Some glimpses from the show and the after party hosted by director of Alliance Francaise Nicolas Facino, and Rohan.

Indulge offers a glimpse into the newly launched The Bengal Paddle

Considered as India’s last surviving paddle steamer, the vessel was originally commissioned by The East India Company to sail in the Bengal deltaic region. Restored and relaunched in November last year, the paddles and vintage machinery of the boat is back in its old glory, put up in display cases for history enthusiasts. The Riverine Museum in addition is one of the main attractions of the steamer paddle boat, located in its erstwhile boiler room

Indian Museum and Australian Consulate General in Kolkata had organised Jarracharra-Dry Season Wind — a remarkable collection of textiles by indigenous artists from Babbarra Women’s Centre, Maningrida Region, Northern Territory, Australia. The showcase brought together the city’s fashionistas.
