55 artists showcase myriad shades of the season with Winter Art Exhibition at ICCR, Kolkata

Last week a mélange of artists from across India displayed their creative genius at Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) organised by Tobuovimaan. The venue came alive with the artwork of resin artists to calligraphers and painters to photographers.


Inaugurated by artists Ridhima G Mundra, Joyeeta and Tathagata Paul, the Winter Art Exhibition kicked off on November 22 and continued for three days. A total of 55 participants from metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and cities like Jalandhar, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar, Ahmedabad, Raipur, and Bhopal took part in the exposition. An Italian artist Vito Financchiaro from Sicily, Italy was also part of the event.


The participants included Shivaangi Pasari for resin art, Sreeja Roy for mixed media; Nida Hasan, Jesmina khatun, Laboni Chatterjee, Saikat Chattopadhyay, Soumi Saha, Rakesh Malik, Natasha Agarwal and Neha Jallan for painting. Yogendra Velicharla, Tanmeet Kaur, Devyani Luharuka, Nirjhar Mondal, Pranali Chandorkar presented their calligraphy art while Kuntal Paul, Sabina Akter shared their ideas with photography.
