Founded in 1996, Thermal and A Quarter describe their genre of music as “Bangalore Rock”. Quintessentially Bengalurean, TAAQ is known for their songs Meter Mele One-And-A-Half, Holy Jose and Chainese Item from their five albums. The band just released a new single, Leaders of Men, from their upcoming album, #AWorldGoneMad. On the band’s Facebook page the song is described as, “a pithy take on leadership and politics in India and abroad”. The hard-hitting, politically-charged lyrics are by frontman Bruce Lee Mani, and the song has Leslie Charles on bass, Tony Das on guitar and Rajeev Rajagopal on drums.
