Metalheads can look forward to an exciting start to 2020. American heavy metal band, As I Lay Dying, based out of San Diego, California, makes its India debut in January 2020 with a three city tourThe band will play at CultFest Lite in Bengaluru, BigHorn Festival in New Delhi and Fireball Festival in Guwahati.  

Founded in 2000 by vocalist Tim Lambesis, it has released seven albums, one split album, and two compilation albums. The band currently consists of Tim Lambesis, Jordan Mancino, Phil Sgrosso, Nick Hipa and Josh Gilbert. Some of its popular albums are Beneath the Encasing of Ashes (2001), Frail Words Collapse (2003), Shadows Are Security (2005), An Ocean Between Us (2007), The Powerless Rise (2010), Awakened (2012) and the latest, Shaped by Fire (2019). The band was also nominated for a Grammy award in 2008 for Best Metal Performance for the song, Nothing Left.
