Gene Simmons, popularly known as the bassist and co-vocalist of the legendary band Kiss, has left Twitterati in awe after he posted a video of a birthday wish sent to him by Ringo Starr, the drummer of The Beatles.

Starr is heard wishing “Hey Gene. They say it’s your birthday. Peace and love, brother. Happy you know what,” in the short 8-second long video. Fans on the social media site have joined the drummer in wishing Simmons—popularly known as The Demon or The God of Thunder—on his birthday.

Simmons shared the video wishes on his Twitter with a message, “Thank you, Ringo! Can’t begin to tell you how much you and The Beatles have meant to me all my life.”

Simmons was in the news recently because he had to cancel a Kiss show in Salt Lake City after he had to fly to Los Angeles for a “medical procedure.” He has assured fans that it’s nothing serious. Meanwhile, Kiss plans to tour Australia, before heading to Japan later in the year.
