Indian cricketer Virat Kohli on Thursday added another feather to his already overflowing  cap of achievements. The captain of the Indian men's cricket team is on the list of TIME magazine's 100 most influential people in the world.

The cricketer is in the form of his life and scored 2,888 runs in 2017, which includes 11 centuries. He has also broken many records and is equalling those set by former Indian cricketer and master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. Kohli's tally is also third highest among all other cricketers, only behind former Sri Lankan andn Australian captain's Kumar Sangakkara and Ricky Ponting.

Interestingly, it was Tendulkar who wrote Kohli's profile for the magazine who believes in including only those people in the list whose time is now. Tendulkar said that Virat Kohli's hunger for runs and consistency has been remarkable ever since he saw him in the U-19 World Cup in  2008. The Little Master also went on to add that Virat Kohli has taken all the criticism he faced during the West Indies series and came back to improve not only his technique but also his fitness.
