Bollywood singer Palak Muchhal filed a complaint against a stalker after the man followed her all the way from Bihar to Mumbai. The singer, more popularly known for her song Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was being followed by the 30-year-old man who allegedly harassed her before she filed the FIR. 

According to various media reports, the 26-year-old singer filed the report and said that the man had been called her and requested to meet but she initially politely declined. However, the man who is said to be a professor sent violent and abusive messages which is when she filed the complaint. It did not end there as the man threatened her that he knows where she lives and will come to her building if she does not meet him. The man apparently found her contact number from a film directory which has numbers of all Bollywood celebrities. The stalker was arrested from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus station area in Mumbai.

With the case coming to light, police are investigating if the man has contacted and harassed other celebrities. Apart from singing Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Palak has also worked on other Bollywood songs like Jumme Ki Raat, Gori Tu Latth Maar, Laapata and Meri Aashiqui among others.
