Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao who has been lauded for his performances in Newton and Trapped, will star in director Mikhil Musale's film Made in China. The director whose film Wrong Side Raju won the National Award for Best Feature Film in Gujarati last year will make his Bollywood debut with this film; it is being produced by Maddock Films production. 

Interestingly, Rajkummar will be working with producer Dinesh Vijan on his second movie in a row. tHE producer has worked with the actor before in the film Stree and has clearly been impressed by the latter's acting skills. It was on the sets of the movie Stree that the actor read the script for Made in China and came on board the project.

While the female lead for the movie has not been finalized yet, the shooting of the film is expected to start in September. The plot will revolve around a struggling Gujarati businessman and his hilarious journey to make it big.
