Indian actor Priyanka Chopra has now become a global icon and while she recently got engaged to Nick Jonas, she is busy getting ready to tie the knot with him. However, recently at her bridal shower, she happened to wear a dress made by Harvey Weinstein’s ex-wife, and the idea has gone down too well with a lot of people on the internet. 

At the bridal shower by Anjula Acharia and Mubina Rattonsey, Priyanka wore a silver dress designed by the brand Marchesa, co-owned by Georgina Chapman, Harvey Weinstein’s ex-wife. However, as soon as people on the internet asked Priyanka how she could work with someone related to a sexual harasser, the Quantico actress said it was about women supporting women and totally supports Georgina. The actress added that the designer was her friend and the case with Harvey is not her fault. Priyanka also said it was not right to blame a self-made woman for something because someone in her life did something wrong. 

Interestingly, Harvey Weinstein is out on bail after being accused by several women of sexual harassment over the last two decades and more. The Hollywood producer has also being accused of rape by at least 13 women and assault by many more.
