Actor Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty is reportedly set to begin his film journey with the Hindi remake of Telugu film RX 100.

Ahan will be launched by producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who is producing the film. The romance drama, directed by Milan Luthria, began its first schedule today with Ahan shooting at a single screen theatre in Mumbai.

According to reports, the female lead will be played by Tara Sutaria, who was seen in Student Of The Year 2, by Karan Johar.

In a conversation with a leading media organisation, Milan reportedly said, “Doing a candy floss romance didn’t seem like the way to go for a guy like Ahan. Sajid and I come from a commercial background wherein films ride on drama, action and confrontations with twists and turns. I loved the original film and we have adapted it to suit the Hindi audience’s sensibilities. It is dramatic and unexpected story.”

The Telugu film RX 100 starred Kartikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput in the lead roles.
