Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their first child together ever since they got married in the royal wedding in May 2018. So, recently the Meghan Markle had a secret baby shower in New York City attended by her close friends, however, Priyanka Chopra who is known to be very close to the Duchess of Sussex, was missing, leaving fans wondering what could have transpired between the two. 

According to reports, Priyanka missed the baby shower because she was busy with work commitments, which we are sure is all about her recent hectic schedule for the promotions of her latest film Isn’t It Romantic. Interestingly, Meghan had earlier missed Priyanka and Nick Jonas’ wedding because of her pregnancy. However, the two friends reportedly keep in touch with each other through emails and texts when they are not able to meet each other. There are also rumours doing the rounds that Priyanka may also be the godparent of the child. 

Meghan’s baby shower was attended by close friends Amal Clooney, Abigail Spencer and even Serena Williams, among others. The reason for Priyanka missing the shower is evident from her recent picture which went viral leaving spans speculating about whether she is pregnant already. However, the actor told her mother Madhu Chopra, it was only because of the recent hectic schedule that she had a slumped posture.
