Deepika Padukone is quite busy with her upcoming film Chhapak, but that does not stop her from aiming higher every single time. At the recent unveiling of her wax statue at Madame Tussauds in London, the Padmaavat actor was asked if she would like to be a part of the Avengers and her response has left fans excited.

In the interview, Deepika said she would want to be a part of the Avengers, and being Indian-origin would be really great. However, she said it does not matter if it is Marvel or Avengers, because as long as it is any of these iconic characters in cinema, it would be interesting. The 33-year-old actor added that the world is ready to see a superhero that originates from India and she believes it will happen soon too.

Deepika’s wax statue in London is a replica of the cape lehenga by Sabyasachi that she wore for IIFA Awards in 2016. On the film front, Deepika Padukone’s film Chhapak by Meghna Gulzar will see the actor opposite Vikram Massey, and is based on the story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
