It also features rumoured couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are the lead cast. According to reports, Akkineni Nagarjuna is said to play the role of an archaeologist. His character is reportedly said to be on an expedition to restore an ancient temple around the banks of Ganges.
The Tollywood star has reportedly completed his shoot schedules in Varanasi.
The film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Shah Rukh Khan. It is said to be a three-part series.
