Fans got the first glimpse of Kangana Ranaut donning the iconic green sari as former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in the poster release of Thalaivi, earlier today.

Thalaivi stars Kangana Ranaut in the lead with the Aravind Swamy expected to play the role of MGR. Directed by Vijay, the musical score of the film will be handled by G.V.Prakesh.

The movie which is a biopic of the actress turned politician will be released on June 26th, 2020.
