After the successful Chhichhore, director Nitesh Tiwari is reportedly set to work on one of his big projects, Ramayana.

According to reports, actors Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone will play the roles of Ram and Sita respectively. The latest news is that Saaho star Prabhas will play the role of Ravana. However, no official announcements have been made.

As quoted by leading media organisations, a source close to the team reportedly said, “Allu Aravind, Namit Malhotra and Madhu Mantena have collaborated for the first time to make India’s most ambitious project and are producing Ramayana with Nitesh helming it. It will be released across India in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. So they have already bounced the idea off to Prabhas. The team wants the Baahubali star to come on board as Ravana because they feel he will add more personality to the character.”

Prabhas was last seen in Saaho, also starring Shraddha Kapoor. While Hrithik’s last film was Super 30, Deepika will soon be seen in Chhapaak.
