After a recent interview, Ekta Kapoor’s daily routine has stirred a conversation on social media. She is one of the main forces behind Indian television and digital content. In a recent podcast, Known Unknown by Usha Kakade, Ekta Kapoor revealed her shocking bedtime, which is 4 AM. Ekta has said that she typically wakes up later in the day, works according to her creative hours, and has an extended 12-hours workday.
Ekta Kapoor typically wakes up at about 11 am to send her son to school. She said in the interview, “Though I see off my son in the morning when he goes to school…so that’s when I wake up for 10 odd minutes and sleep again. That I don’t count.” However, after finally waking up, Ekta Kapoor’s daily routine includes phone calls and writing content from 11 AM to 2 PM. She uses this time to chat with her creative team and brainstorm with them about the scripts to create ideas.
After that, Ekta leaves her home to pick up her son from the school and then she heads to the gym for a workout session. The beginning of her workday is at 4:00 PM and lasts until 4:00 AM.
