The trailer for Rajinikanth-starrer Petta is out and it is simply mindblowing; Nawazuddin Siddiqui makes his south Indian debut

The film, produced by Kalanithi Maran has been shot in various locations in Nepal and north India and will have music by Anirudh Ravichander.

Ever since director Karthik Subbaraj announced the cast of his upcoming film Petta, fans have been eagerly waiting for a glimpse of the film and now, the trailer is finally out. With the likes of Rajinikanth, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vijay Sethupathi, the film looks like it is definitely going to be a blockbuster.

Subbaraj said the film is an action-drama and rightly so, as Rajinikanth makes a smashing entry before actors Simran, Trisha, Sasikumar and Bobby Simha make an entry. The film will see Vijay play the antagonist as Nawazuddin makes his south Indian film debut and with quite an intense look, for all his fans in Bollywood, as he looks to make quite an imposing character. The film, produced by Kalanithi Maran has been shot in various locations in Nepal and north India and will have music by Anirudh Ravichander. 

With cinematography by Tirru, and an ensemble cast, Petta looks to be quite a blockbuster in all of its elements with superstar Rajinikanth, coming on the back of Kaala and 2.0 in 2018. The film is set to release on January 10, 2019.
