Mumbai, Oct 9 (IANS): Actress Katrina Kaif gave a sneak-peek into actor Akshay Kumar's character from the upcoming film Sooryavanshi.

The actress shared a photograph on Instagram that featured a nametag on a police uniform with 'Veer Sooryavanshi' written on it. Akshay's character in the film is called Veer Sooryavanshi.

 

Directed by Rohit Shetty, this film is the latest addition to Shetty's cop drama universe that has seen hits like Singham and Simmba.

Sooryavanshi also unites Katrina and Akshay, who are sharing screen space after nine years. The two have previously worked in films such as Namastey London, Sing Is Kinng, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Welcome and Tees Maar Khan.

The movie, which is scheduled to hit the screens on March 27, 2020, also stars Gulshan Grover.
