The teaser of Vikrant Massey- and Shweta Tripathi-starrer film Cargo was released earlier today. Touted as India's first ever sci-fi spaceship film, Cargo is directed by Arati Kadav who is known for her work in the sci-fi genre with shorts like Time Machine and Raavan that have won accolades.

The film is about what happens to life after death. Vikrant plays the role of Prahastha who is a demon operating the Post Death Transition services on a space station that's orbiting the earth. Shweta is the astronaut assisting Vikrant.

Although the teaser appears cold and intimidating, the makers claim it is a warm human drama with a story that's woven around human emotions. The film is produced by Shlok Sharma, Anurag Kashyap, Navin Shetty and Arati Kadav.
