Tamil folk dance performance at DakshinaChitra

The museum has invited Madurai-based folk dance group Munniyandi Kalai Kuzhu to perform Karagaattam and Paraiaattam.

DakshinaChitra is celebrating the start of the monsoon with Tamil Nadu folk performances and crafts. The museum has invited Madurai-based folk dance group Munniyandi Kalai Kuzhu to perform Karagaattam and Paraiaattam. As a part of the festival, there will also be wood carvings and unique handmade paper products.
