Cycling event covers 80-kilometre-stretch from Kochi to Kumbalangi this weekend

A city-based community of cycling enthusiasts, Muziris Cyclists' Club organises a cycling event from Kochi to Kumbalangi covering an 80 kilometre stretch. The group will start from Chendamangalam Junction at 4.45 am on October 6, and move towards Koonammavu, Varappuzha Container Road, High Court, Panampilly Nagar, Willingdon Island, Thoppumpady and reach Kumbalangi around 7.30 am. On their way back, the team will start from Puthanthodu beach, take a roro to Fort Kochi and head towards Vypin, and then reach Paravur through Cherai around 10.30 am.
Participants must carry water, sunblocks, cap and any necessary medicines and gear with them.
