Shop from La Sosta for this season's wardrobe upgrade

Bringing a mix of designs from more than 20 designers on board is the recently unveiled online portal, La Sosta. Founded by Nikita Vij, it provides a one-stop shop for ready-to-wear collections in a range of bright colours. “We are in talks to launch six to eight designers in the coming months,” says the 27-year-old fashion entrepreneur, who shuttles between Delhi and Mumbai. Nikita plans to add a few Hyderabadi designers soon. “We chose the name La Sosta because it means ‘The stopover’ in Italian, which is quite apt,” she says. Though the e-portal is presently limited to apparels, Nikita plans to include an accessory and a home décor section soon. One look at the website shows that the collection offers wearable designer ensembles. However, you would wish that the co-ordinates and athleisure sections were stocked better as these trends have several takers presently. A few designers on their portal are:

Dhruv Kapoor
This New Delhi-based designer offers box-pleated pants, skater skirts and jumpers.  You could also opt for his maxi dresses and high-waisted pants.  His collection is a rare mix of experimental cuts and wearability. Rs 10,000 onwards.

Shehlaa by Shehla Khan
Her ready-to-wear line looks dreamy because they have been crafted out of  organza and lace. She has also used fabrics such as chiffon and tulle. This Mumbai-based designer uses delicate embroidery and feminine aesthetics, combining understated glamour with vintage elegance. Her ensembles come in
a colour scheme of pastel hues like peach and pink and sheer. Rs 32,500 onwards.

HUEMN
This distinctly-hipster label founded by Shyma Shetty and Pranav Mishra fuses edgy designs with an element of Androgyny.  Huemn, with its ensembles, also touches the notes of body positivity. Rs 5,500
