Designer Payal Singhal has tied up with PAIO, the PETA-approved vegan shoe label to launch a limited edition festive collection of shoes. In keeping with Payal’s earlier collection, #PS20, to mark 20 years of her label, the footwear line too takes inspiration from gypsies and Bohemia.

“I’m happy to extend my signature motifs to this collaboration with PAIO. Their finish and comfort are immaculate. It has been a pleasure to co-create a collection of footwear that stands tall anywhere in the world! Both, PAIO and I, believe in versatility of the footwear and this collection is designed to transition effortlessly from occasion wear to everyday wear,” says Payal Singhal.

The edit comprises 16 different styles that range from mules and sandals to block heels, in a colour palette consisting of shades of pink, blue and classic black. The pieces are all detailed with thread work, leather embroidery, frayed tassels, appliqué and patchwork that create a 3D effect.

The entire range of footwear is 100 per cent cruelty-free and handcrafted by local artisans using locally sourced fabric and material.
