This is a big shout out for gastronomes who love the succulent jumbo prawns, chewy squid and fleshy pomfret. Chowman brings to you Oriental Seafood Festival with delectable recipes that would satiate your cravings for marine delights. 

We sampled a sumptuous spread at their Little Russel Street outlet and started with Seafood Wonton Soup. The steamed wonton with the stuffing of crabmeat and squid was a sumptuous start and we loved the chunks of prawn in our soup. Moving ahead with the menu our taste buds were tantalised by the Crispy Chilli Honey Shrimps. While the honey soothes your palate first, the kick of red chillies sets in later making you binge. The strong notes of lemongrass make it an irresistible bite. 
Deep-fried seafood spring roll made way on our plate next with a flavourful filling of shrimp and prawn tossed in veggies. This makes for a good starter as well. 

From the entree we sampled Whole Steamed Pomfret that was served with rice and Asian greens. Drenched in oyster and hoisin sauce and tossed in three varieties of mushrooms, the soft and deboned flesh of pomfret warmed our hearts. The seafood fare ended with Sweet and Spicy Jumbo Prawn. The punch of tomatoes, basil, chilli flakes and garlic makes it a favourite bite. 
After a fulfilling session, we turned towards Toffee Walnut with Vanilla ice-cream to satiate our craving for dessert. The classic vanilla ice cream and bittersweet walnut, topped with canned cherries are like a heavenly pair.
