Pictures from KK's last performance at Kolkata

Krishnakumar Kunnath aka KK left for his heavenly abode on Tuesday around 10:30pm after a concert at Nazrul Mancha, Kolkata. The evergreen, soulful voice behind tracks like Sach Keh Raha Hain Deewana from Rehna Hain Tere Dil Mein and Aankhon Mein Teri from Om Shanti Om was in the city to perform at two college fests back to back on Monday and Tuesday at the same venue. The musician fell ill after his performance on Tuesday night, and suffered a cardiac arrest on his way to the Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI). According to media sources, the musician had complained about the suffocating heat in the auditorium due to faulty air conditioning system with an overcrowded audience on both the days but it is yet to be confirmed if any actions were taken by the authority.
