Neha Kannan brings tamilian cuisine to Bombay

Born and raised in Chennai, Neha Kannan, wife of renowned TV and radio host Saddarth Kannan, curates authentic tamilian feasts and brought her culinary talents to Bombay at Tamil Fest on Sunday, October 1st. 

Several celebrities such as Pooja Bedi, Divya Dutta, Kirti Khullari, and politician Shalini Thackeray stopped by to get a taste of her tamilian delicacies. Baba Sehgal even created a rap video praising Kannan's cuisine.

The thali meal, composed of six starters and eight main courses, featured the use of coconut, tamarind, herbs and spices typical of Tamil Nadu, the rarely seen adai dosa and more. 

Kannan's past experience includes a degree in hotel management and a wide range of work experience at the Marriott Hotel, Flurys in Kolkata, as well as Greek, Italian and Lebanese restaurants.
