In a beautiful ceremony, Former Miss America 2005 Deidre Downs Gunn tied the knot with her girlfriend Abbott Jones in a private ceremony at Alabama's Birmingham Museum of Art. Downs Gunn who is now a physician married her attorney partner, in the presence of family and friends with eight-year-old being the best man and walking her down the aisle.
While Deidre wore a LianCarlo dress, Jones wore a crisp white satin-like Sareh Nouri ball gown with a bow in the back.The couple were dating each other for over a year after they met online in February 2017. Downs Gunn has her son from a previous marriage to her husband Andrew Gunn.
Downs won the Miss Alabama crown in 2004 before winning the Miss America title in 2005. During her reign, she served as a spokesperson for Cure Search National Childhood Cancer Foundation.
