Heartbreaking! David Warner’s wife reveals she had a miscarriage during ball-tampering scandal

Candice said that the public humiliation to the ball-tampering incident took a toll on them and they decided that nothing would impact their lives like that ever again.

Australian cricketer David Warner’s recent involvement in the ball-tampering incident in South Africa was quite a shock to cricket fans all around the world. However, the tour ended much worse as Warner’s wife recently revealed that she had a miscarriage after the ball-tampering incident. Candice said that it was a disastrous end to a nightmare tour in South Africa. 

The wife of the Australian batsmen spoke to an international magazine about the incident and said that she called Warner to the bathroom because she had started bleeding and realised that they were miscarrying and they just held each other and cried. She went on to say that the public humiliation to the ball-tampering incident took a toll on them and they decided that nothing would impact their lives like that ever again.   

Candice also went on to state that they realised she was pregnant before the tour and were really excited since they had been trying since July 2017. David Warner did everything to see that she reached home safely after the tour but the miscarriage was heartbreaking. The Australian cricketer stepped down as vice-captain has been suspended for 12 months following his involvement in the incident with captain Steve Smith and opening batsman Cameron Bancroft, who have also been suspended for 12 and 9 months respectively.
