The revamped outlet of KFC at Park Street though much smaller in size than its previous avatar looks brighter, better and inviting. The 1,767 sq ft of space done up in bright hues of red, black and beige offers a cool, intimate yet informal option and is a very good option if you want to go for a quick grab without burning a hole in your pocket.
As you enter the outlet, you would be impressed by the neat decor and the red wall adorned with frames of the founder, Col Sanders in black and white is quite nice, we felt. An interesting mix of wooden and metal furniture, from community tables to brick walls and earthy lamps to metal light shades, each piece lends a vibrant and rustic look to the place, so typical of the Texan food outlets. The 73-seater eatery also has a separate dining area of about 807 sq ft where you can relax and have a taste of the finger licking chicken with your family.
“Park Street is as iconic to Kolkata as KFC is for all chicken-lovers. And when the two come together, it’s going to be epic. The refreshed restaurant welcomes every occasion and mood. And what’s more, you can even get a selfie in front of the original Celebrity Chef wall," says Moksh Chopra, Chief Marketing Officer, KFC India.
What's awesome and gets a thumbs up from us is that the newly launched restaurant is also managed by a specially-abled team. The managers are trained in sign language here like their other outlets in Diamond City North, City Centre 2 Rajarhat, New Empire and Gariahat.
Whether you are savouring your favourite bucket of chicken all by yourself or digging into popcorn, strips and burgers with your gang of friends, KFC offers you the right ambience for all that and more.
The outlet is open from 11 am to 11 pm
