MotoSoul 2019: TVS Apache global event for performance motorcycle enthusiasts in Goa

MotoSoul is a flagship initiative to create a platform for the TVS global brand of TVS Apache. The brand, which bespeaks aspiration, has over 3.5 million customers across the globe with the customised customer experience initiatives such as the Apache Owners Group, the Apache Racing Experience and the Apache Pro Performance.

The event will be an international platform to engage with customers as well as an opportunity for global performance motorcycle enthusiasts to experience TVS products, interact with TVS racers, experts, and be united by their passion for motorcycling. MotoSoul aims to be an annual global event with MotoSoul 2019 being the first edition.

We spoke with Meghashyam Dighole, Head of Marketing – Premium Segment, TVS Motor Company to learn more about the TVS Motosoul initiative.

What is the objective of the event?
MotoSoul is our flagship initiative to create a platform for our global brand – TVS Apache.

The brand, which bespeaks aspiration, has over 3.5 million customers across the globe with our customised customer experience initiatives such as Apache Owners Group, Apache Racing Experience & Apache Pro Performance.

The event will be an international platform to engage with customers as well as an opportunity for global performance motorcycle enthusiasts to experience our products, interact with our racers, experts, and be united by their passion for motorcycling. MotoSoul will be an annual global event with MotoSoul 2019 being the first edition.

What is the Unique Selling Proposition of the event?
With MotoSoul, we are trying to create a unique platform for engaging with customers and performance motorcycle enthusiasts.

The event will host an array of racing and adventurous activities including Dirt track riding, Moto Crossfit, and Stunt riding competition, coupled with interactive sessions with national, international racing champions, and TVS R&D.

MotoSoul will also witness a host of fun activities including gala nights on both the days. It will see an exclusive showcase of exciting products from the stable of TVS Motor Company.

What is the scale of the event you are looking at? Is it open only for TVS Apache customers or is it open to all?
MotoSoul 2019 is the first edition of our annual event. We are building a platform for domestic customers as well as performance motorcycle enthusiasts globally.  We are expecting more than 3000 people to join us. MotoSoul 2019 is open to all passionate performance motorcycle enthusiasts across the globe. 

What will be the impact on brand Apache from this event?
MotoSoul is an initiative to establish TVS Apache’s global aspiration and a platform to unify passionate Apache Owners Group communities across all geographies. 

What will the audience benefit from this event? 
The audience can take part in multiple racing and adventurous activities, and engage in a series of interactive sessions with national, international racing champions, and TVS R&D.

These sessions will help riders enhance their riding capabilities and learn more about the nuances involved in developing performance motorcycles.

The event includes interactive sessions with TVS Racing team. Will this be a platform for budding racers?
TVS Racing team has been primarily participating in four forms of racing which includes Supercross, Motocross, Road Racing, and Rally in the national and international racing platforms.

The interactive sessions with TVS Racing factory team will definitely help budding racers take inputs to hone their racing skills across all formats. 

How sustainable is this event in India?
Today, Apache Owners Group (AOG) rides have been conducted in over 35 cities, witnessing the participation of over 3,000 passionate customers across all geographies.

With an increase in the customer base, we are confident that MotoSoul will be one of the most successful flagship events by TVS Motor Company.

Are you planning to invite any international racer?
Sherco TVS Rally Factory team, our international Factory racing team will also be present at MotoSoul. We will have interactive sessions with international racers of the Rally team.
